Pakistan is actively striving to transition towards a green economy, aiming to leverage global experiences and promote domestic green business activities through initiatives like “Green Fields,” following recent discussions between Federal Minister Dr. Musadik Malik and Mr. Ma Jun, President of China’s Institute of Finance and Sustainability. The discussions highlighted China’s remarkable success in establishing the world’s largest green financial system, valued at an impressive $7 trillion.
During today’s meeting, the Federal Minister was briefed about China’s innovative Green Accelerator Program, aimed at fostering sustainable development.
Dr. Malik emphasized the need to adopt sustainable and viable solutions tailored to local conditions.
He highlighted the “Green Fields” initiative, which aims to connect youth with investors, thereby promoting green business activities and creating opportunities for young people.
Pakistan is striving to move towards an environmentally friendly economy by leveraging international expertise and models.
The Federal Minister reiterated that effective environmental solutions can only be achieved through strong international cooperation.
