Law enforcement personnel today confronted alleged robbers near Azizabad Crossing, resulting in the arrest of one suspect in injured condition after an exchange of gunfire. Authorities successfully recovered a pistol, ammunition, and a motorcycle from the scene.
The incident occurred near the grid station in Azizabad, where police officers confronted the alleged suspects. After a brief but intense exchange of gunfire, one individual, identified as Asif son of Ghulam Muhammad, was captured in injured condition. The seized items are now part of an ongoing police investigation by the Azizabad Police Station.
In a separate incident of violence, two individuals were injured during a knife attack in the Musa Line area. The altercation, reportedly stemming from a personal dispute at Kakri Ground, involved Haider, 35 years old, son of Mukhtar, and Faheem, 38 years old, son of Abdul Sattar.
Both injured individuals were promptly transported to a medical facility for treatment. The Baghdadi Police Station has initiated an investigation into this incident, which occurred within the City District.
Another report details a shooting incident in Jumma Goth, where Ghulam Shabbir, 34 years old, son of Bakhshal, sustained gunshot wounds. This incident, near Taj Hotel, was due to personal enmity.
Ghulam Shabbir was later admitted to a hospital for his injuries. The Ibrahim Hyderi Police Station in Malir District is conducting further investigations into this matter. All aforementioned incidents are under active investigation by the respective police departments.
