Armed leader of drug-dealing gang arrested along with accomplice in encounter with Thatta police

In a police encounter in Thatta today, authorities have arrested a notorious drug dealer and his accomplice, both of whom were injured during the operation.

The incident occurred near Kenjhar Rice Mill on Warta Peer Patho Link Road, which falls within the jurisdiction of Gharo police station. The main suspect has been identified as Abid son of Abdullah Chandio, while his accomplice has been identified as Anees son of Iqbal Butt, both residents of Gharo.

Police investigations have revealed that the suspects were involved in multiple crimes, including drug trafficking, robbery, and motorcycle theft, carried out in Karachi, Thatta, Makli, and Gharo. A pistol has been recovered from the scene, which is alleged to have been used in the crimes.

The injured individuals have been transferred to the hospital for medical treatment, while law enforcement officers are further investigating their criminal records. Raids are also being conducted to arrest more accomplices linked with the suspects.
