A young man injured by a stray bullet in Karachi Liaquatabad, condition critical; 3 robbers arrested from Korangi and South

Violent incidents in Karachi today affected the city’s law and order as stray bullets and armed clashes resulted in several injuries. The city witnessed a troubling day with multiple skirmishes between law enforcement agencies and criminals across various districts.

In Liaquatabad, 30-year-old Faizan Amin was hit by a stray bullet near Glamour School. He was immediately transferred to ASH for treatment.

Meanwhile, in Korangi district, a dramatic confrontation occurred near Gates Pharma on Link Road. Police exchanged fire with armed robbers, resulting in the arrest of an injured suspect identified as Muhammad Ramzan alias Hyderabadi. His accomplice managed to escape. Law enforcement agencies seized a firearm, live bullets, two stolen mobile phones, and a motorcycle. Investigations into the incident are ongoing while the suspect is receiving medical aid.

Another incident occurred near Qurban Hotel on the Lyari River Bridge, where a similar confrontation took place in the Federal B Industrial Area of District Central. Police arrested an injured robber, Saleem, son of Muhammad Sadiq, while his accomplice fled. A pistol and bullets were seized from the scene. The arrested individual is under medical treatment, and further investigations are underway.

These incidents have heightened concerns regarding the increasing violence and brazenness of criminal elements in the city. Authorities are intensifying efforts to apprehend the fugitives and restore law and order in the affected areas.
