Sindh Government is committed to providing better medical facilities to the public: Chief Minister Sindh

On the occasion of World Hypertension Day, in an effective message, Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah today appealed to citizens to adopt a healthy lifestyle to combat the rising rates of hypertension. Hypertension is recognized as a silent disease, often escaping timely diagnosis, and causing serious health issues.

Shah emphasized balanced diet, regular physical activity, and ensuring mental peace as key elements. He stated that smoking, poor dietary habits, and stress play significant roles in elevating hypertension levels.

The Chief Minister endorsed the Sindh government’s commitment to improving healthcare services for the public and encouraged residents to continuously monitor their blood pressure. He noted that regular medical check-ups are extremely important for the diagnosis and management of this disease.

Raising awareness about hypertension is a shared responsibility, Shah stressed, as a healthy society lays the foundation for a prosperous Sindh. His appeal was echoed by Chief Minister’s spokesperson Abdul Rasheed Channa, who emphasized collective responsibility in addressing this public health issue.
