Karachi Police’s Anti-Crime Campaign During the Week, 25 Encounters, 37 Arrests Including 26 Injured Robbers

Karachi Police Force has achieved a significant success in the ongoing battle against crime, which has emerged after a series of successful operations conducted under the direction of Additional IG Karachi, Azad Khan. In an officially released statement today, it was reported that during the past week, law enforcement agencies were engaged in 25 encounters with armed criminals, resulting in the arrest of 37 individuals. Among them, 26 were apprehended despite being injured. Furthermore, authorities have seized 30 illegal weapons and 11 motorbikes.

In a broader crackdown, over 1035 individuals were detained in Karachi’s eastern, western, and southern zones. The police’s anti-narcotics efforts also showed results, with the seizure of 62 kg 309 grams of hashish, 3 kg 201 grams of crystal meth, and heroin worth millions.

Additionally, the recovery of 119 illegal weapons linked to various crimes, 26 stolen motorbikes, and six large vehicles were also part of these operations. These efforts demonstrate Karachi Police’s unwavering commitment to eradicating crime, restoring peace, and ensuring the safety of the community.
