An Okara court today sentenced Abdul Majeed alias Tahiri to death for the crime of murder in a land dispute case.
Additional Sessions Judge Depalpur, Riaz Afzal Cheema, presided over the case and imposed a fine of 500,000 rupees on the convict. The sentence is based on the incident of Abdul Rashid’s murder that occurred in 2024.
District Police Officer Dr. Asad Ijaz Malhi said that there should be no leniency for those guilty of innocent killings. He praised the hard work of the investigative officer and the legal team involved in the case.
