Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, has approved one billion rupees for the construction and rehabilitation of the Bahrain-Kalam Road.
The announcement was made during a meeting with the Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Engineer Amir Muqam in Islamabad, according to a report today.
On this occasion, Engineer Amir Muqam expressed his gratitude to the Minister for Communications for approving the special funds for the Bahrain-Kalam Road.
He said the construction and rehabilitation of the road would promote tourism in the area, stabilize the local economy, and provide better travel facilities to the public.
