All preparations completed for the launch of Pakistan’s first industrial water park at Karachi TP-1 Haroonabad

Pakistan is set for a transformative change in its water infrastructure, with the inauguration of the country’s first industrial water park in Karachi’s Haroonabad settlement. Under Chairman Bilawal’s vision, this revolutionary project is ready to start operations in July, initially providing 35 million gallons per day (MGD) of water, with plans to increase it to 65 MGD by December 2026.

Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui today highlighted the significant benefits of this initiative for the city’s water supply, which addresses a critical need in the area. The project is expected not only to meet local water requirements but also to have a positive impact on the marine ecosystem and aquatic life in the Arabian Sea.

The industrial water park at TP-1 Haroonabad is a testament to the potential for advanced water management solutions in urban areas. As the project progresses, it is hoped to serve as a model for similar initiatives across the country, promoting sustainable development and improving the quality of life for residents.
