Abdul Samad Inqilabi again not produced before court 

Srinagar, February 26, 2020 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi has expressed concern over the plight of Kashmiri detainees languishing in jails of occupied Kashmir and India. A party spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the treatment meted out to the Kashmiri detainees in Indian jails is against the international norms and manuals of jail. He said that the detainees are kept in jails of Kotbhalwal, Jammu, Kathua, Agra, Rajashtan, Haryana and Tihar- far away from their homes.

 

The spokesman said that party Chairman Abdul Samad Inqilabi who is suffering from multiple ailments has been kept in Central Jail, Srinagar. However, he had also been kept mostly in jails outside in between 1990 and 2020. The spokesman said that he had been kept in the same cell of Tihar jail, New Delhi, where martyr Maqbool Butt was kept.

 

On Tuesday, Abdul Samad Inqilabi was, once again not produced before the court in false cases registered against him. He was scheduled to be brought before the a court in Kupwara, yesterday, but the administration failed to comply with the court order. The judge has issued new orders asking the administration to produce him 10th of March 2020.
