ACE Holds Open Court to Redress Public Issues

Lahore, November 04, 2022 (PPI-OT): Anti-Corruption Establishment will take action against the plaintiffs who make false applications under 182 PPC, which is punishable by six months in prison. Adviser to CM for Anti-Corruption Musadaq Abbasi and Director General Anti-Corruption Nadeem Sarwar stated this while holding an open court at DG ACE on Tuesday.

 

The advisor made it clear that along with the elimination of corruption in government institutions, the officers and officials of the Anti-Corruption Department will also be held accountable. DG Anti-Corruption Nadeem Sarwar said that open courts are being held in all the regional offices to redress grievances at the regional level. Today, 35 applications have been received and immediate action has been taken, he added.

 

Among the complaints received, apart from Pakistani citizens, overseas Pakistanis have also filed their complaints. Nadeem Sarwar said that this is the second open court of the anti-corruption department in a year and the purpose is to redress people’s issues. The redressal of public complaints is the priority of the anti-corruption department, he added.
