Central Secretary General, National Democratic Movement-NDM, Syed Muzamil Shah on Friday divert the attention of all and sundry towards the deteriorating law and order situation in district Harnai of Balochistan province.
Addressing a public meeting held at Bacha Khan Chowk area of Harnai city under the aegis of three parties alliance, speakers brought to the fore frequent terrorist acts, extortion, highways, roads, streets of Harnai district in a dilapidated condition in the wake of recent torrential rains, triggering flash flooding in different areas of Harnai district . They said unannounced load shedding in Harnai was not only destroying agriculture of Harnai but also adding to the miseries of the citizens of Harnai.
Expressing solidarity with the protest sit-in staged in Chaman city under the auspices of Chaman Perlut Committee against introduction of ‘Single document regime policy’ implemented for trade between the citizens of Spin Bodak, Afghan city and Chaman city, a Pakistani ciry connecting Pakistan with neighbouring country Afghanistan, they said that citizens of Harnai had been facing hardships to seek passport for travelling to perform Umra, Hajj and carry on trade, but owing to the absence of Passport Officer in Passport Office Harnai, citizens were compelled to go to the other districts of the province.
Public meeting was addressed by the provincial and distric leaders, including Provincial President , Pushtunkhwa National Awami Party, erstwhile MPA Nasrullah Zarae, provincial deputy secretary, Suleman Bazai, Secretary, Information, Awami National Party, Wali Dad Miani, district President, ANP, Harnai, Abdul Ghani Tareen, district president, Haji Duran and large number of workers of National Democratic Movement, Awami National Party and Pushtunkhwa National Awami Party, hoisting flags of three parties and chanting slogans in support of their demands.
