KARACHI: Mohammad Adnan played a brilliant 139-run knock to help Hydri Sports record a 113-run victory against Karachi Disable Cricket Club in All Sindh Prof. Ejaz Faruqi Cricket Tournament here at KCCA Stadium.
Hydri Sports batted first and scored 278 runs before losing all of their wickets in 43.2 overs. Adnan took 111 balls to score 139 with the help of 11 fours and three sixes. Javed Ahmed picked three wickets.
Karachi Disable CC was bundled out for 165 runs in 37.4 overs. Umer Farooq top scored for the side with 33 runs. Mohammad Adnan, Waheed-ur-Rehman and Arif took two wickets each.
In the second match of the day, Modern Gymkhana overpowered Colony Gymkhana by 104 runs at Landhi Gymkhana ground. Salman Khan scored 98 runs fort the winning side.
In the third match of the day, City Gymkhana defeated Hamdan Colts by two wickets at KCCA Stadium. Mohammad Yaseen scored 77 runs for the wining team. Atta-ur-Rehman picked four wickets for 46 runs.
