The Anti Narcotics Force arrested suspects involved in using courier services to distribute narcotics across various cities.

TV reports said that a key breakthrough came with the arrest of a Nowshera resident who had booked 11 parcels filled with drugs. The seized packages contained 5.7 kilograms of hashish, 200 grams of crystal meth, 120 ecstasy pills, 150 grams of opium, counterfeit currency amounting to Rs. 100,000, and a 30-bore pistol.

Three individuals were apprehended near Haji Camp, Peshawar, with 2 kilograms of hashish recovered from them. Interrogations revealed their involvement in inter-provincial drug trafficking, sourcing drugs from Bara and other areas and smuggling them via courier services.

Authorities are increasingly concerned about the threat posed by digital drug trafficking to national security. Efforts are underway to uncover the full extent of this network.

Legal proceedings have commenced against those arrested under the anti-narcotics act, marking the beginning of formal investigations.
