Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam condoles demise of its former member Nooruddin Khan

Srinagar, March 30, 2023 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of its former member and a close friend of the Mirwaiz family, Nooruddin Khan of Bohri Kadal, now residing at Peerbagh, Srinagar. The Anjuman, on behalf of the organisation and its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, in a statement in Srinagar paid rich tribute to Nooruddin Khan for his selfless services to the institution and society.

Nooruddin Khan’s illustrious father, late Ghulam Muhammad Khan, also known as Gul Khan, had a very close relationship with the former president of the Anjuman, Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq, and he used to organise Dastarbandi of the late Mirwaiz and used to take the lead in organising the late Mirwaiz’s programmes and sermons across the valley. Terming Nooruddin Khan as a very sincere, honourable and dignified personality, the Anjuman expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy with the deceased’s son Rauf Ahmed Khan and other members of the family over the demise.

Meanwhile, the Anjuman also expressed grief over the demise of the spouse of another friend of the Mirwaiz family, the late Ali Muhammad Wani (Hardware), a resident of Hyderpora. The deceased was the sister of Shaheed S Hameed.
