Deputy Commissioner Fayyaz Hussain Rahojo, along with Assistant Commissioner Arslan Haider Phulpoto, on Tuesday attended the morning assembly of polio teams at City Hospital Khairpur during the polio eradication campaign. Meanwhile, he also reviewed the anti-polio campaign at the Basic Health Center Kumb and Kot Bungalow. The Deputy Commissioner instructed the polio workers, saying that the anti-polio campaign must be completed as per the task, and legal action will be taken for negligence.
On the second day of the campaign, Deputy Commissioner Fayyaz Hussain Rahojo, accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Arslan Haider Phulpoto, attended the morning assembly of polio teams at the City Hospital. He emphasized that this program must be made successful at all costs to save children from this crippling disease.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the field staff and Lady Health Workers to administer polio drops to every child in their assigned areas. He also stressed the need to convince those parents who express reservations with a positive attitude, reassuring them that the vaccine is not harmful and is extremely important for preventing physical disability. He added, “It is also our responsibility to check every house thoroughly and record accurate data.”
