A security guard was injured by a gunshot on Wednesday after bravely resisting an armed robbery attempt at a petrol pump located near Port Qasim.
The victim was identified as Ali Sher son of Pir Bakhsh, approximately 45 years old. He was injured in the violent confrontation while performing his duties at the PSO pump.
Following the incident, the injured guard was immediately rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for prompt medical treatment of his injuries.
Law enforcement agencies have been notified, and a formal investigation into the armed assault has been launched. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
