Police, with the assistance of local residents, successfully foiled a robbery incident in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area on Sunday, resulting in the arrest of three suspects involved in the incident.
The incident occurred in Block 01 when six suspects snatched a mobile phone and wallet from a citizen and attempted to flee the scene.
Personnel from the Gulshan-e-Iqbal police station, with the cooperation of the public, intercepted and arrested half of the fleeing suspects.
An illegal pistol and all the stolen items were recovered from the detained individuals.
Authorities have confirmed that a search operation is actively underway to find and apprehend the remaining three fugitive accomplices.
