Attempt to travel abroad via fake UK Share Code foiled

Officials from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) foiled an organized attempt to travel abroad using a fake UK Share Code and fabricated marital documents, intercepting a passenger at Karachi’s international airport. The discovery of digitally altered wedding photographs in the suspect’s possession points to a highly planned deception.

A man named Muhammad Imran was scheduled to depart for Turkiye on Saturday via flight PC-131 when vigilant FIA Immigration staff stopped him during a routine check.

An examination of his travel documents revealed that the UK Share Code, a digital verification of immigration status, was counterfeit. These modern documents are used to prove an individual’s right to stay in the United Kingdom.

During further investigation, more incriminating evidence was seized from the detained individual. This included a set of edited photographs from a wedding ceremony between Imran and a woman named Oneeza Qureshi.

Authorities believe these forged images were created to support a false claim of a family relationship, a common tactic used in immigration fraud schemes to gain entry or residency in foreign countries.

The suspect has been taken into custody and a formal case has been registered. The FIA has launched a comprehensive investigation to uncover any potential accomplices or a wider network involved in the production and distribution of such fraudulent documents.
