Islamabad, October 13, 2020 (PPI-OT): First Lady Begum Samina Alvi has said the awareness campaign about breast cancer is yielding results as its severity is being realized by the masses.
Addressing a breast cancer awareness function in Islamabad on Monday, she stressed that the barriers of social and cultural taboos should be broken and women should be encouraged to come forward for early screening. Begum Alvi said that efforts are being made to set up call centers to facilitate women often shy of discussing the health related issue with family members and friends.
