BAHAWALPUR:Ayub Agricultural Research Institute, Faisalabad organized a seminar on awareness on intercropping of maize and soybean at Islamia University of Bahawalpur(IUB).
Prof Dr Tanveer Turabi Director Cholistan Institute of Desert Studies the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Dr Abid Awan CEO PARB Lahore, Dr Shahid Mansoor Director NIBGE, Prof Dr Shehzad Maqsood Ahmed Basra Chairman Department of Agronomy University of Agriculture Faisalabad and Muhammad Aftab Chief Scientist Oilseed Research Institute Faisalabad presided over the seminar.
Dr Muhammad Ali Raza, Assistant Professor, Department of Cholistan Institute of Desert Studies, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur addressed the seminar participants. He highlighted the importance, usefulness and results of his five years of experience in intercropping of maize and soybean and received a lot of praise from the participants.
At the same time, he addressed the concerns of farmers and businessmen regarding the intercropping of maize and soybeans and gave them further guidance in this regard so that they could cultivate more corn and soybeans.
