BAHAWALPUR:Vice Chancellor Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) Prof Dr Athar Mahboob, on Thursday inaugurated a souvenir shop at the Department of Business Management and Administrative Sciences.
The graduate student Hunzala Ahmad as an entrepreneur has set up a souvenir shop at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur where Islamia University brand, various gifts including cups, pins, different models of university building and gate and different models of Bahawalpur city have been made. There are also T-shirts and other everyday items.
The Vice Chancellor said that this is a successful entrepreneurial model in which a social purpose also emerges and the brand and identity of the university will create a new relationship among the people and it is an entrepreneurial endeavor. This will inspire other young people and they will start their own small and medium businesses, the income from which will be a source of prosperity. Dean Faculty of Management Sciences Prof Dr Jawad Iqbal and faculty members were also present on the occasion.
