The Meteorological Department’s Quetta Regional Center on Sunday predicted hot and dry weather in most districts of Balochistan over the next 24 to 48 hours. Very hot conditions with above-normal daytime temperatures are expected in districts such as Sibi, Kachi, and Turbat, among others.
Coastal areas including Hub and Gwadar will experience hot to very hot and humid conditions during this period.
The department details that Sibi recorded a high of 47.5°C in the past 24 hours, while Lasbella noted 46.0°C, and Turbat reached 45.5°C. The trend is expected to continue with elevated temperatures across both plains and coastal regions, urging residents to take necessary precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses.
