QUETTA: All Balochistan Levies Employees on Tuesday demanded of the authorities to finalise the service structure of the federal government’s levies force serving in Balochistan and take necessary action for the merger of the levies employees into Balochistan levies force.
These demands were made in a protest demonstration held under the auspices of
All Balochistan Levies Employees outside Quetta Press Club.
Addressing the protest demonstration, the leaders said that the government of Khyber Pushtunkhwa had already merged levies force of federal government into KPK levies force, but the Balochistan government had not taken any action in that regard.
They further said that after the passage of the 18th Constitutional Amendment, federal levies force was to be merged into provincial levies, but it was not known as to why the government of Balochistan had taken no step to do the needful, adding that after a lapse of considerable period of time, service structure for levies employees of federal government had not been framed.
