Balochistan’s youth induction in armed forces a proud moment: Rubaba

Advisor to Chief Minister Balochistan for Women Development Dr Rubaba Khan Buledi said on Tuesday that the inclusion of Balochistan’s youth in the armed forces of Pakistan is a proud moment for the province, as they step forward to safeguard the nation’s defense.

Their participation highlights the growing opportunities for Balochistan’s women to play an active role in the security of Pakistan, symbolizing strength, resilience, and dedication. These remarks were given during her visit to Navy Headquarters Quetta, where she was welcomed by Navy Commandant Officer Captain Abdullah Siddiqui. On this occasion, Navy Commandant Officer presented her with a commemorative souvenir. Dr. Rubaba Buledi discussed several initiatives aimed at advancing opportunities for the people of Balochistan.

A key point of the discussion was the recruitment of women from Balochistan into various departments of the Pakistan Navy. Dr. Rubaba Buledi remarked, Increasing women’s representation in the Navy is crucial for gender equality and for tapping into the immense potential of the women in Balochistan. The establishment of a Bahria University campus in Quetta was also a central topic of discussion.

Dr. Rubaba Buledi stated, The establishment of Bahria University in Quetta will bring worldclass educational opportunities to the region, enabling our youth-especially women-to thrive in their academic and professional pursuits. Another significant topic discussed was the development of a Maritime Technology Training Park for Balochistan’s youth. This training park will provide advanced skill development in maritime technologies, offering our young people new career pathways and fostering economic growth in the region, Dr. Rubaba Buledi added.
