QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, while expressing heartfelt grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of a police constable in Killi Muchan area of district Pishin during polio duty, has sought report of the incident from the concerned authorities, according to a statement issued by the Chief Minister Secretariat here on Tuesday.
Bizenjo said that perpetrators of the crime be held accountable, adding that nefarious designs of anti-social elements would not be left to succeed at any cost. Directing the authorities of Home and Tribal Affairs Department and Inspector General of Police, Balochistan to ensure providing foolproof security arrangements to polio workers during anti-polio drive, he said, “The future of our children will be protected.”
Expressing condolence to the bereaved family members, he prayed that may Almighty Allah rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family members to bear the loss with equanimity.
