Blind T20 Grade-2 Trophy begins Feb 8

 

KARACHI: Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) is organizing NBP Blind T20 Grade- 2 Trophy from February 8 to 12 at different grounds in Karachi.

 

The venues for the tournament matches include Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah Sports Complex and Afzaa Cricket Ground.

 

The tournament is a qualifying event in which eight teams will compete for the trophy. The tournament proper Grade-1 will take place in Attock from February 27 to March 3, which will also be contested among eight teams.

 

Grade-2 champion team will qualify for Grade-1 while the last team on points table in Grade-1 will be relegated to Grade-2. The last team on points table on Grade-2 will be eliminated from the next edition and Gilgit-Baltistan team will make their debut participation.

 

The eight participating teams in the Grade-2 event are Karachi, Abbottabad, Hyderabad, Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta, Sargodha and Sheikhupura.

 

Officials of NBP and Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) officially inaugurated the event and they along with team captains unveiled the tournament trophy.
