Police have launched an investigation following the grim discovery of a young man’s body found hanged inside a residence in the Manghopir area. The circumstances of the death remain unclear pending a formal inquiry.
The body was recovered on Tuesday from a house located in Pakhtun Abad, Street No. 09. Law enforcement agencies have identified the deceased as Shaukat, aged between 20 and 22 years. Information regarding his parentage was not immediately available.
Following the discovery, the deceased was transported to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for necessary medico-legal procedures. The Manghopir police station has taken charge of the case.
Authorities have confirmed that the definitive cause of death will be established upon the completion of the post-mortem report. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
