Authorities have launched an investigation after the body of a 51-year-old man was found on Tuesday in the Defence Society Phase 2 area. Authorities have identified the deceased as Yousuf son of Sheroz.
The body was found on Street No. 22. According to a statement from the Defence Police Station, the initial assessment suggests that the death was due to natural causes.
Despite the preliminary findings, the body has been moved to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for further medico-legal procedures to determine the exact cause of death. A formal investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway.
