Authorities have launched an investigation after the body of an unidentified youth was found in Karachi’s busiest area, Lea Market, on Tuesday.
According to a report issued by the Baghdadi Police Station, the deceased is estimated to be around 18 years old and is suspected of being a drug addict.
The body was recovered near Agha Jan Dry Fruit, a prominent spot in the commercial hub.
After being found, the body was immediately moved to Chhipa Hospital, where it will be kept pending identification and further procedures.
Officials have confirmed that a formal investigation has been initiated to determine the individual’s identity and the circumstances of death.
