British Deputy High Commissioner Sarah Mooney met Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori for a farewell meeting at Governor House. Discussions revolved around bilateral relations, trade partnerships, diplomatic collaboration, and mutual interests.
According to a statement by Sindh Governor House today, Tessori commended Sarah Mooney’s contributions and extended his best wishes for her future endeavors. He emphasized the strong ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, expressing a desire to further enhance cooperation. He also acknowledged Britain’s vital role in Pakistan’s education, trade, and social development.
Sarah Mooney reflected on her time in Pakistan, describing it as memorable and rewarding. She highlighted the concerted efforts made to strengthen bilateral relations and praised Governor’s IT Initiative, which she termed a commendable step towards youth empowerment.
Upon her arrival at Governor House, the departing envoy received a Guard of Honor. She also participated in a flag-hoisting ceremony and planted a tree as part of the ongoing afforestation campaign.
