A man was shot and killed in a horrific incident in Makli, allegedly by his own brother. Najam Memon was reportedly shot by his elder brother, Haider Memon, at approximately 1:30 AM. The accused fled the scene after the shooting.
The victim was initially taken to Civil Hospital Thatta, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was shifted to a medical facility in Karachi. He later succumbed to his wounds. The motive behind this violence between the brothers remains unclear, and law enforcement agencies in Makli are investigating.
The body of a young man was discovered near the civil court building in Gharo, approximately 80 kilometers from Thatta. Locals informed authorities, who recovered the body and transported it to a hospital for postmortem.
Gharo Station House Officer (SHO) Ayaz Ahmed Bhugio stated that residents informed police about the body in front of the Gharo Civil Court this morning. The deceased has been identified as Anwar, son of AlRakhiyo Mallah, a local resident. Initial findings suggest that he was hit by an unidentified vehicle last night. Police are investigating all aspects of the accident.
