SINDHRI:A married woman was killed in the pretext of Karo-Kari in Sindhri town on Saturday.
An irate brother shot dead his married sister Gulshanana, aged, 20, a resident of Daulatpur, in Sindhri. The accused fled to unknown destination after committing the murder. The cause behind the incident was stated to be the notorious tradition of Karo-Kari.
The body was shifted to a local hospital for an autopsy and later handed over to the heirs. The police have started further investigation into the incident. No arrest could be made till filing this report. A tense situation was prevalent in the area.
