SUKKUR:A Model Court of Sukkur sentenced a man to life imprisonment after founding him guilty in the murder case of his wife. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 500,000 against the convict.
The court awarded life imprisonment to accused Manzoor Lohar in view of evidences. According to the prosecution, Manzoor had shot dead his wife Fakhurnisa in the pretext of karo-kari a year ago within the limits of Naoon Pind police station in Sukkur.
The court sent the convict to Central Jail Sukkur for undergoing the punishment. Counsels of both sided were present in the courtroom today amid tight security.
