A local court today sentenced a man to life imprisonment for murdering his own brother after a quarrel.
Sessions Judge Mian Shehzad Raza, while delivering the court verdict, sentenced Khizar Hayat to life imprisonment for the crime of murdering his brother, Ghulam Mustafa.
In addition to the prison sentence, the court also imposed a heavy financial fine of 500,000 rupees on the convict.
The verdict states that in case of non-payment of the fine, the convict will have to serve an additional six months of imprisonment.
According to the case details, this fatal incident occurred due to a quarrel between the two brothers.
