Sindh Governor Muhammad Nihal Hashmi has assured the city’s business community of all possible cooperation in resolving their pressing issues, including matters related to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), during a high-level meeting at Governor House on the second day of Eid.
On Monday, a delegation comprising prominent figures from the business, social, and political sectors extended Eid greetings to the Governor. In response, Governor Hashmi thanked the guests and expressed his best wishes.
The dignitaries present included Ikram Rajput, Mahmood Moulvi, Ahmed Chinoy, Khalid Tawab, Zubair Tufail, Dr. Farhan Essa, Hamza Tabani, Farhan Hanif, Idrees Gigi, and Abdul Haseeb.
Reaffirming his commitment, the Governor stated that he is the constitutional governor and a representative of the federal government.
He also called for joint efforts, emphasizing the need for everyone to work together for the improvement of infrastructure.
The Governor emphasized that the progress of nations is linked to public service and welfare, and it is essential to pay special attention to the education, research, and health sectors.
