Capital Development Authority DVC Committee Meetings

Islamabad, September 14, 2020 (PPI-OT): Proceeding with government policy, Capital Development Authority (CDA) is committed to move up construction industry in Islamabad. A series of substantial steps have been taken on this subject. During recent past, Design Vetting Committee (DVC) of Capital Development Authority has held four (04) meetings. During these four (04) meetings, 30 building plans have been approved by the Design Vetting Committee.

Nine (09) building plans were approved in the meeting held on April 30, 2020, nine (09) building plans were approved in meeting held on July 09, 2020, Two (02) were approved in a meeting held on 25-08-2020 and Eight 08 building plans were approved in meeting held on September 01, 2020. Along with buildings in sectoral areas, Capital Development Authority is now approving plans of buildings situated in non-sectoral areas as well.

The buildings whose plans have been approved are situated in areas like I-8 markaz, D-12 markaz, Blue Area, G-7 markaz, H-11/2, G-11 markaz and private housing societies including Multi Professional Cooperative Housing Society, Gulberg Greens, Bahria Town, Simly Dam Road and OPF. The approval of plans of these 30 building plans is directly going to benefit the construction industry in Islamabad. Incumbent Administration of Capital Development Authority has now made the approval of all building plans now mandatory within thirty days of submission subject to completion of all codal formalities.
