Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa made a surprise visit to Park Enclave I, II, and III on Saturday.

Member Admin, Member Finance, Member Planning, Member Environment, Member Estate, Director General (DG) Enforcement, DG Works, DG Environment, DG Sanitation and Project Director Park Enclave, along with senior officers of the Islamabad administration and other relevant CDA officials, accompanied the Chairman during the visit.

During the visit, the Chairman CDA personally inspected the ongoing development, beautification, road infrastructure, sanitation, sewerage system and water supply system in Park Enclave I, II, and III.

He also met with some of the residents of Park Enclave who appreciated the visit of Chairman CDA himself to Park Enclave in order to review progress on ground.

The Chairman CDA stated that he would not only visit regularly to Park Enclave to monitor development as well as other works but has also issued necessary directions to concerned officers/officials for resolving the issues.

He instructed that the main gate of Park Enclave be further upgraded and beautified so that it should present excellent look which is established at a very prone position right at the beginning of Park Road.

Additionally, he emphasized road upgradion, park improvements, provision of playgrounds and recreational facilities, and enhancing best of the lighting in order to uplift the overall aesthetics and development of Park Enclave.

He specifically directed improvements in road infrastructure, water and sewerage system. He ordered the immediate removal of all encroachments and illegal constructions in Park Enclave in accordance with the law, ensuring that CDA land is freed from illegal occupants.

He stated that Park Enclave is a landmark project of CDA, and all resources will be utilized to make it a successful project. The Chairman CDA directed the installation of signboards displaying plot numbers and street names prominently in Park Enclave I, II, and III.

He also instructed the Environment Wing to ensure landscaping, beautification and planting of environmentally friendly trees along with upgrading parks and providing recreational facilities including playgrounds with swings for children.

A detailed briefing was given to the Chairman regarding the completion of development work in Park Enclave Phase II. He was informed that possession of plots has been granted to over 75% of owners in Park Enclave Phase II.

Similarly, he was briefed on the development progress in Park Enclave Phase III. It was shared that electrical installations in Phase III will be completed at the earliest.

Furthermore, tenders for the installation of street lights including electricity poles will soon be published in newspapers. The briefing also highlighted that civil work in Park Enclave has entered its final stages and will be completed in due course of time.

The Chairman directed the concerned officers to prioritize resolving the issues of Park Enclave I, II, and III. He instructed the Finance Wing to ensure release of necessary funds for completing development work in Park Enclave.

He also emphasized the prompt commencement of boundary wall construction in Park Enclave Phase III and the swift provision of basic facilities.

The Chairman stated that, keeping residents’ needs in mind, school plots and other amenity plots in Park Enclave will be introduced in accordance with the CDA’s rules and regulations.
