Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, has commended the outstanding performance of eight Lahore Police personnel for solving cases of “blind murder” investigations, theft, and other serious crimes, and bringing the criminals to justice.
Certificates of appreciation and cash rewards were distributed among the law enforcement personnel during a formal ceremony on Wednesday, which was attended by senior officials including Additional IG Punjab, DIG Headquarters, and AIG Discipline.
The award-winning team, which included inspectors, sub-inspectors, ASIs, head constables, and constables, was praised for their diligent investigative work. Officials commended their success, stating that they not only traced the blind murder but also worked diligently to gather crucial evidence to bring the criminals to justice.
This performance was described as a practical demonstration of the Punjab Police’s professionalism and commitment to protecting the lives and property of citizens.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said, “Such hardworking, honest, and dutiful officers are the real asset of the police force, and their encouragement will continue.”
