KARACHI:An employee of Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) has been tested positive for coronavirus here on Monday and the hospital administration has started screening other employees.
An administrative official at CHK told PPI that a peon posted in the Administration Block had tested positive for the COVID-19. He contracted the disease from close family friend in Lyari Town who recently arrived from Iran.
The management has isolated two persons, including an infected and a security guard who was in contact with him. The CHK administration has also conducted fumigation of the Admin Block after positive case and also launched screening of other employees.
