Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti today vowed to enhance the capacity building of girls in the province, underscoring his government’s commitment to promoting education and sports for women.
During a meeting with South Asian Badminton champion Sarwat Fatima at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Bugti lauded Fatima as a talented daughter of Balochistan. He expressed his support for her and announced that she would be provided with free education in any educational institution of the province, with all expenses covered by the provincial government.
In a further gesture of encouragement, the Chief Minister revealed that Fatima would receive a financial award of Rs5 lakh, in addition to being sent to Malaysia for advanced badminton training. Bugti emphasized that the provincial government would continue to support and inspire girls, urging them to pursue sports alongside their academic goals.
