CM Buzdar says opposition now has nothing left but shame

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said Tuesday that the opposition now has nothing left but shame and lies and negative politics do not last long.

“These elements have completely forgotten the national interest. The opposition parties tried to stop the journey of development at every opportunity,” he said in a statement.

He said that people had rejected those who were obstructing the development journey of the country. He said that they were moving forward in spite of difficult circumstances and would continue to do so.

The chief minister said that the opposition had shown duplicity at every opportunity. This interest group does not care about the people. “Crying is written in the destiny of the opposition and only failure will come in the destiny of the failed opposition.”

He said that in the face of honesty of Prime Minister Imran Khan, corruption and looters had no status. “Now only politics of development and public projects will prevail in the country. Opposition elements have proved that their politics is not based on any principle or ideology,” he added.
