CM Hamza announces Rs160 subsidy on 10kg flour bag

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz Thursday announced decrease in the price of 10kg flour bag by Rs160 – from Rs650 to Rs490 – to provide relief to the people.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore’s Model Town, Hamza said: “Listen to me Imran Niazi, no one can stop me from working for the people.” He also accused Imran Khan of playing with people for four years.

Hamza said that people had been facing a great deal of inconvenience due to inflation for the last four years, adding that the dollar touched Rs200 mark due to Imran Khan. He also blamed Imran Khan for spreading chaos under the guise of politics. Hamza said, “I tell the people not to follow this imposter. He has not yet been able to answer his theft of Tosha Khana.”

CM Hamza went on to say that Imran Khan wants anarchy and chaos in the country. “He talks about revolution now but he has destroyed the country from his Tsunami.” He also said that the economy is on ventilator while political turmoil is on the rise.

He also alleged that Imran Khan was showing hostility towards Pakistan, asking the people to keep a close eye on him. “If the court had not opened at 12 o’clock at night, the country would have become a banana republic by now,” said the chief minister. He also flayed President Arif Alvi and former Punjab governor Umar Sarfraz Cheema for violating the Constitution.
