COAS Asim Munir Affirms Pakistan’s Stance on Kashmir at LoC


Rawalpindi, Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to its principled stance on Kashmir, consistent with United Nations resolutions, during his visit to the Line of Control on Eid ul Adha.



According to Kashmir Media Service, the army chief spent the holiday with troops stationed in the Haji Pir sector, as reported by the Inter Services Public Relations. In his address, General Munir condemned the ongoing oppression of Kashmiris by India, accusing the neighboring country of masking its actions with propaganda and provocations against Pakistan. He highlighted the ongoing struggle in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, praising the resolve and morale of the troops defending Pakistan’s borders.



General Munir emphasized Pakistan’s support for regional peace and stability, warning that any violations of Pakistan’s sovereignty would be met decisively, with the full backing of the nation.
