ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf has said the Constitution of Pakistan protects the rights of the minorities in the country.
He was addressing a national conference here in Islamabad on Wednesday. Raja Pervaiz Ashraf emphasized on making Pakistan a peaceful country, irrespective of any religious affiliation. Paying rich tribute to the services of minorities for the country, he said the government and people of Pakistan respect the Christian community for their unmatched participation and support in the independence movement.
