QUETTA:District judges have been asked to adjourn civil and criminal nature of cases until May 19, 2020.
A circular issued by the High Court of Balochistan says that in view of the present situation caused by novel corona virus and in pursuance of the directives of Chief Justice High Court of Balochistan, all Districts Courts have been asked to adjourn civil and criminal nature of cases until May 19, 2020 and hear only important nature of applications and cases.
District and Sessions Judges have been asked to make mechanism whereby less officers and staff are made present on rotation basis for hearing important nature of cases. Instructions have also been issued to all Family Judges to adjourn hearing of family nature of cases and meeting of miners until May 19,2020. Date fixed for the next hearing of the adjourned cases be forwarded to lawyers.
