KARACHI:Crescent Art Gallery, after a successful Art Festival at Governor House in Karachi, has started preparations for a solo art show of Muhammad Ali Bukhari at a local hotel on June 5.
The registration for the art show has already begun. In this regard, Chief Executive of Crescent Nasir Javed said on Sunday that their mission was to introduce the Pakistani art in whole world. He said in whole country, including Karachi, besides many cities abroad, a plan to hold successive art shows had already been chalked out.
He said Pakistani artists were extremely talented and with a proper patronage, their skills could be further polished. Javed said that in Pakistan work had already been started to present art of international level. However, our artists have limited resources and they have no access to international festivals of paintings. He said Crescent would play a due role in this regard. It would encourage and support talented artists.
He said the registration for the art show would be open till May 20. The registration forms could be emailed to info@crescentgallery.com
