Two alleged dacoits were arrested in an injured condition today after an armed encounter with law enforcement personnel in Orangi Town Sector 11. The incident escalated into an exchange of fire between the police and the suspects.
Officials from the Mominabad Police Station identified the arrested individuals as Wajahat son of Wajid Ali and Junaid son of Aziz-ur-Rehman.
Following the exchange of fire, police recovered a pistol with ammunition, multiple mobile phones, and a motorcycle from the suspects’ possession.
The injured suspects have been shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. Authorities have confirmed that further investigation into the matter is underway.
