CRPF man died in road mishap in Jammu

Jammu, May 11, 2020 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, an Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man died in a road accident in Jammu. The CRPF man identified as Constable Arjun Singh was on his way to his camp on his motorcycle when he was hit by a truck near Shakti Nagar in the city, police said. Arjun died on the spot.

Meanwhile, in another tragic incident, strict corona lockdown claimed the life of another pregnant woman from Manzmoo village of Qazigund. The family of the deceased said that she wasn’t treated well at Government Medical College, Islamabad by the doctors and was discharged in a hurry on the pretext of corona emergency.

It is important to mention here, this is third death in Islamabad district since the lockdown was imposed. Earlier, two pregnant women from Kharpora and Salia died in the hospital. Both the cases are under investigation as the families alleged ‘medical negligence and ill treatment due to lockdown.”
