Currency Exchange Rates Experience Marginal Shifts Across Major Currencies

Karachi: Exchange rates for several major currencies experienced slight fluctuations today, reflecting subtle movements in the global foreign exchange market. The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan reported these changes, noting that the U.S. dollar, euro, and British pound saw minor adjustments in their buying and selling rates.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the U.S. dollar's buying rate was recorded at 280.24, while its selling rate stood at 280.80. The euro was observed at 332.16 for buying and 335.20 for selling. The British pound showed a buying rate of 383.38 and a selling rate of 386.77. In Asian currencies, the Japanese yen's buying and selling rates were noted at 1.79 and 1.84, respectively, while the United Arab Emirates dirham was listed at 76.53 for buying and 77.23 for selling. The Saudi riyal's buying rate was 74.80, with a selling rate of 75.37.

Additionally, the interbank rates were recorded at 279.76 for buying and 279.96 for selling, highlighting a stable position in the domestic banking sector's currency dealings. These figures provide insight into the current state of currency exchange dynamics in the region.
